VIVID PLAYS PROMINENT ROLE IN

“60 MINUTES” SHOW -- Vivid

Entertainment was featured prominently in

the CBS News “60 Minutes Special Report,”

“Porn in the USA” on

Sunday (November 23). Reporter Steve Kroft

noted that the San Fernando Valley is home to dozens

and dozens of adult film companies, including “Vivid

Video, the porn industry equivalent of Paramount

or Universal.” Vivid’s

President Bill Asher was interviewed

extensively for the program. He noted that Vivid has

had double-digit growth every year for the past five

years. The industry is big business now. It’s

mainstream. It's really no different than what Playboy

was 30 years ago, 20 years ago.” The extensive

distribution of adult has occurred, Asher said, because

as “companies like Vivid came around and made

everyone more comfortable with adult product; mainstream

companies said, ‘OK, we'll be willing to distribute

it. We would like to join in the benefit - the financial

benefit of distributing it.’ We strive to have

good sets, good plots, attractive people. People who

can hopefully speak and act. Everything that you would

expect to see in a mainstream movie,” says Asher.

CBS reported that adult fare is “delivered now

directly into homes and hotel rooms by some of the

biggest companies in the U.S. It is estimated that

Americans now spend somewhere around $10 billion a

year on adult entertainment, which is as much as they

spend attending professional sporting events, buying

music or going out to the movies.” Vivid

Girl Jenna Jameson was also interviewed for

the program. She noted, “The way I look at it

is this is kind of an art to me. So it's just like

being Julia Roberts, but just a little

bit further, one step further.”

SHOOTING WRAPS ON “LAST GIRL STANDING”

-- -- Shooting has wrapped on the latest Paul

Thomas’s big budget film “Last

Girl Standing.” The movie stars all

of the current Vivid Girls…

and it’s the first time that they are in a feature

in which they not only perform in an all girl orgy,

but also have sex scenes with men. “Last Girl

Standing” was written by Raven Touchstone.

It stars Jenna Jameson, Briana

Banks, Kira Kener,

Sunrise Adams, Savanna Samson,

Mercedez and Tawny Roberts.

Release dates have not yet been announced.

A NEW SOURCE OF ENERGY IN CANADA

-- Ft. McMurray is known as the energy capital of

Canada… but the Alberta city will get a power

boost on December 11th when Vivid Girls Savanna

Samson and Sunrise Adams show

up for a Porn Star Ball appearance

at Cowboys (9317 Hardin Street).

Sunrise and Savanna then travel to Edmonton for the

final Porn Star Ball event of 2003 on December 12th.

It will be held at the Cowboy Lounge

(10102 180 Street). As usual, the Vivid Girls will

pick the finalists in a “come as your favorite

porn star” contest, with $750 going to the winners

in each city.
