VIVID --- The place to be in Las Vegas
on Friday night (Feb. 4) was VIVID,
the spectacular new club that had its grand opening.
There were two red carpets to accommodate the
arrival of the Vivid Girls and
a crowd of celebrities and high-rollers of the
sophisticated, high-tech club at the Venetian
Hotel. Vivid Girls Jenna Jameson,
Janine, Savanna Samson,
Briana Banks, Monique
Alexander and Lexie Marie
partied into the wee hours, chatting with fans
and invited guests at a specially configured VIP
booth. VIVID is a beautifully decorated space
that features three-dimensional, holographic images
of girls that seem to be dancing in air. The club
is operated by publicly traded ARK Restaurants
Corp. under a licensing agreement with
Vivid. Reviews of the new club are positive. The
Las Vegas Mercury says
VIVID is "an intimate, well-executed lounge that
is at once modern and old school, blending high-tech
elements (holograph-like projections of dancing
girls; glowing globe-like lamps) with the style
of a classic, dark disco lounge of the 1970s (check
the light wall behind the dance floor)?the service
was also top-notch?Vivid feels like real Vegas
and that alone makes it worth a stop."
SLY INTERVIEWS JENNA FOR HIS FIRST EDITION
--- There's lots of buzz about the first
issue of Sylvester Stallone's
new "Sly" magazine, which hits
the newsstands on Valentine's Day. The premiere
edition features his interview with Vivid Girl
Jenna Jameson, who talks to Sly about lesbians,
the adult industry and her life. "Sly" is being
published by American Media and is aimed at middle-aged
men with a youthful outlook on life.
MONIQUE POSES WITH LIL JON ---Vivid

shoot on Saturday (Feb. 12) with the "King
of Crunk," Lil Jon & The East
Side Boyz. Monique will pose for a pictorial
for "King" and "Fish
& Grits" magazines. Vivid is making
two films with the multi-platinum hip-hop artist
and filming the first feature -- "Lil Jon & The
East Side Boyz Vivid Vegas Party" -- wrapped up
in Las Vegas last month. King is billed as "the
illest magazine ever" while Fish & Grits is a
fast-growing hip-hop/porn periodical distributed
by Curtis Circulations.
VIVID COMIX GETS APPLAUSE ---The
new Vivid Comix series
from Avatar Press is getting
a positive reception from retailers and comic
book fans. The Vivid Comix
series begin hitting the comic stores and adult
retailers nationwide on February 1st. For information
