TRISTAN SIGNS WITH VIVID --Writer and director Tristan Taormino has joined Vivid Entertainment. She will head “Vivid-Ed” -- its innovative imprint will produce a new breed of instructional movies – and she will also direct a new line of reality videos for Vivid. In announcing Vivid’s agreement with Tristan, co-chairman Steven Hirsch said, “Tristan is one of the bright talents to come into the adult business. We are thrilled that we’ll be able to have her fresh perspective on two very exciting new projects simultaneously.” Tristan wrote the best-selling books The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women, Down and Dirty Sex Secrets and True Lust: Adventures in Sex, Porn and Perversion. She will direct the first two titles in the Vivid-Ed series and will bring in other directors for the second and third productions in the first year. Much of the inspiration for the Vivid-Ed project comes from sex workshops Taormino has been teaching for the past eight years. Tristan says “With Vivid-Ed we have a chance to inform, educate and get someone off simultaneously. This definitely will not be your father’s sex ed tape.”

CASSIDEY RETURNS TO VIVID-- The beautiful green-eyed brunette adult star Cassidey has returned to Vivid Entertainment as a Vivid Girl. “I’m ready to rock,” she tells reporters. Now 25 years old, Cassidey first joined Vivid in 2000 when she was 19 and quickly became a fan favorite. She starred in such popular movies as Marissa, Diary of Desire, Sordid, The Black Room, The Jungle, and Tonight. Since 2002, Cassidey hasn’t done any films. “I knew I wanted to get back to movie making and only do it with Vivid as they are the best,” she says. “When I walked into Steven Hirsch’s office I already had a storyline idea in my mind and I know that Steven will encourage me to develop it. I have a new confidence and understanding of my self-worth, and I’m also in great shape.”

VIVID GIRLS PACK ‘EM IN AT HARPERS -- More than 250 people showed up at Harpers Sports Bar in Northridge, CA last on Monday night to party with Vivid Girls Sunny Leone and Tera Patrick plus ClubJenna Girl McKenzie Lee and Teravision contract star Nikki Benz. Harper’s was packed, even with the threat of rain and the last of the Final Four basketball games taking place. The rowdy ‘n raunchy rock ‘n roll music by Joe Walla and the Dangerous Men were a big hit, as was the Vivid Sampler DVD door prize. Harper’s Sports Bar says they want to make the appearances by Vivid Girls a regular thing. Vivid sales director Howard Levine, who attended the party, said that “All in all it was a great night, and it will be even better when it warms up and the bikes come out.”
