HANNA HILTON IS TWICE A COVER GIRL THIS MONTH -- Vivid Girl Hanna Hilton is featured on the cover of Club magazine's red-hot holiday special, arriving on newsstands Oct. 14 and also graces the cover of XTREME magazine. Both magazines fully appreciate her all-natural DD figure in accompanying photo displays. Hanna, who made her debut this summer in "Meggan and Hanna Love Manuel" opposite another new Vivid star, Meggan Mallone, opened up to Club reporter Eliza Starr about her past, her sex life, and her adult video career. Says Hanna: "I've gotten most of my sexual experience in the industry, The first time I used a sex toy was on camera. I came to LA as a shy little country bumpkin from Indiana. I'm still learning and having new experiences. It's still crazy to me...I'm not used to so much of this! I didn't know how rare large, all-natural breasts are in the adult business. I can tell you that mine definitely are, and I think they're still growing." The Club holiday issue also covers the upcoming all-star DVD, Vivid Red, directed by Tera Patrick. In the article in XTREME, titled "Hanna Hilton: A Star Is Born," Hanna tells reporter Nicola Ferguson: "It's a completely different experience and the people are all great. So, yeah, it's been so fun so far... Being a contract star for Vivid is awesome. Since I made the decision to do it, I'm glad that I was able to get a contract with Vivid right away."20 QUESTIONS STREETS - "20 Questions," directed by Chuck Lords and starring Vivid Girl Meggan Mallone in her solo feature debut hits stores across the country on Oct. 8. The movie features Meggan as a rising porn star being interviewed by "one of porndom's coolest writers, Derek Montague." As the interview heats up, Meggan abruptly excuses herself, telling Derek she will meet him at her place to finish the Q&A. Derek finds a big surprise when he arrives early and unannounced. What could it be? Hint: It involves exceptionally steamy sex.

STEVEN HIRSCH ON WIRELESS FLASH - The media news and gossip site Wireless Flash carries an article on "Flash News" quoting Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch. Under the headline "Celebrity Sex Tapes: Everyone Wins!" Flash News says "Celebrity sex tapes are truly the gift that keeps on giving. According to Steven Hirsch of Vivid Entertainment, the world's leading producer of celeb sex tapes, the naughty videos serve a utilitarian purpose: They give a great amount of good to a great number of people. Hirsch says everyone wins with sex tapes, including money- making distributors, fans, and celebrities themselves. He believes socialites Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton wouldn't be nearly as popular if it weren't for the televised romps that boosted their careers. Sex tapes also benefit fans, who finally get to see their favorite stars in a new light. Hirsch says, 'People are intrigued by celebrities having sex.' But not just any star can make a bankable sex tape. He says the best tapes are high-quality ones that feature 'hot, beautiful, super sexy' female starlets showing off their true talent." Radio stations use Wireless Flash material in their broadcasts.
FINANCIAL TIMES LOOKS AT ADULT - Reporter Matthew Garrahan of the prestigious U.K. newspaper Financial Times wrote an extensive article on the challenges that the established adult industry is facing with falling DVD sales due to competition from amateurs and free porn sites. The article, titled "Rude Awakening," opened with a visit to the set of a Paul Thomas-Monique Alexander film in Southern California. Reporting then on a prediction by one adult producer that "50 per cent of all producers would be out of business within 12 months," Garrahan then writes: "Steven Hirsch, chief executive of Vivid Entertainment, intends to be among the 50 per cent who stay in business ... At the end of last year Vivid became the first porn company to launch legal action against one of the free operators. Its suit against AEBN, owner of PornoTube, one of the larger free sites, has echoes of the legal dispute between Viacom and YouTube ... 'We have been a leader in the industry for years so we decided we had to make a stand,' Hirsch says firmly ... 'A lot of these companies are hiding out in different parts of the world and if we can't find them we can't sue them. But we are slowly going through them all... we are going to go after these guys.'" Garrahan also reported: "Hirsch is also doing all he can to bring the Vivid brand to a broader audience. Plus, it has a roster of popular stars, such as Tera Patrick and Briana Banks, whom it has signed under exclusive contracts. 'We need to continue to showcase our brand, whether it's on a billboard in Times Square or licensing deals that we do for clothes,' says Hirsch. 'When it comes to adult [entertainment] there are very few brands that people know. That really helps us as we move into the future.'"
