HANNA IS THE WRESTLINGINC.COM GIRL OF THE MONTH -- Vivid Girl Hanna Hilton, is the WrestlingINC.com Girl of the Month for April. She will be featured on the website all month, along with a gallery of sizzling photos. In an accompanying interview, the gorgeous, blue-eyed, 5'9" all natural, platinum haired former Penthouse Pet of the Month reveals that she and her sister mud wrestled all the time as kids, but now she'd like to try oil for a change. STEVEN HIRSCH INTERVIEWED FOR 500th "ETHS" -- Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch has been interviewed for the upcoming 500th episode of E! True Hollywood Story. He talked about his relationship with Jenna Jameson. The ETHS profile of Jenna is one of the 10th most watched shows in the history of the program.

SPEAKING OF TRISTAN -- To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its butt plug developed by Vivid-Ed director Tristan Taormino, Vixen Creations has released the "Tristan Anniversary Edition Plug." It will be sold exclusively at Babeland stores and on its website, babeland.com. Vixen first released the Tristan butt plug in 1999 and named it for Tristan because of her expertise in the anal sex field. She's the author of the bestselling book The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women and director of several anal sex instructional DVDs, including The Expert Guide to Anal Sex from Vivid-Ed. Tristan developed the toy after teaching anal sex workshops around the world and listening to people's complaints about other butt plugs. NIKKI TO STEAM UP WEST PALM - Vivid Girl Nikki Jayne scheduled an interview for Saturday night April 4th on the WZZR-FM "Locker Room" in West Palm Beach, Florida. Co-hosts Johnny C and The Greek said they wanted to get the insider story on the making of The Nikki Jayne Experiment. Several lucky listeners were due to win DVDs of the movie. The Locker Room is known for its sports talk with an edge, with the hosts discussing everything in the world of sports and entertainment.

STEVEN HIRSCH FEATURED IN "THE WRAP" - Vivid figured prominently this week in an article on the popular Hollywood blog "The Wrap." The story by New York Times blogger Eric Taub focused on the FyreTV set-top box that streams adult internet video direct to TV - to which Vivid is a key supplier. Writes Taub: "Thanks to a new generation of consumers who don't expect to pay for anything, pornographic DVD sales dropped 35 percent in 2008. 'We're responsible. The chickens have come home to roost,' said Steven Hirsch, CEO of Vivid Entertainment, the biggest producer of adult entertainment. By not cracking down on file sharing and pirate programs, 'we've educated the public that two things are free: music and adult entertainment.' As a major porn producer, Hirsch argues that Vivid is doing just fine, distinguishing itself by producing "quality" content. But there's no doubt that every company in the business is trying to figure out how to stabilize sales, harnessing the very technology that is stifling their profits." Taub continues, "As for Vivid, it's even taken its show on the road, holding parties at nightclubs throughout the U.S. to help build the brand. (In a throwback to the old Playboy Clubs, there's no nudity at the events, thanks to various state laws prohibiting nudity where liquor is served.) "Deeper Throat," its R-rated VOD reality show (recently completed its first airing) on Showtime. And, along with other similar companies, it's plastering its name across Twitter, Facebook and MySpace with dedicated pages, hoping that social networking sites will bring more attention to the brand. Still, Hirsch doesn't know if all his efforts will be enough to stem the tide of free porn. And free is a road that Hirsch also may take. "We're not there yet, but we may go to an advertiser-supported website," he said."
