NIKKI FEATURED IN U.K. MEDIA - Vivid Girl Nikki Jayne is the subject of a major profile in the English newspaper, The Liverpool Echo. The article by reporter Janet Tansley begins: "She spent her childhood years serving up tea in her local church hall in Wigan (a village near Liverpool). But now (Nikki Jayne) is serving up sex as one of the biggest stars in LA's adult film industry." Tansley goes on to outline a career choice that is "a far cry from the career of fitness trainer which Nikki used to have in England, but as she celebrates her first year in Los Angeles this month, she has no regrets. Speaking from the mansion in which she lives, overlooking the rolling Beverly Hills, Nikki is delighted with her new job and her luxurious lifestyle: 'I'm just a really big dreamer, I've always had really big dreams and that's been my driving force.'" Nikki tells the reporter how she signed with Vivid and says, "It's different when you have a contract? they want to 'brand' you and you are the star. It was a bit nerve-wracking filming my first scene, in front of 50 people. But once I had found myself in the porn community I knew I belonged there. I'm a kind of daredevil, anything that's extreme I want to do it? I don't get embarrassed. I have an amazing life traveling the world. I have been to Australia, where I was promoting a film; I have danced in top night clubs in New York, I have just come back from Miami...I get to go all over." Beyond her career as a Vivid Girl, Nikki reveals some of her big dreams and says she wants "to get into buying property and investing, developing my website and looking at going into production too eventually. I want to get into TV documentaries, interactive computer games and I want to write a book. I believe I'm going to be massive because I believe in myself. I never used to but now I have come this far and I can really see it. I've just driven past Sunset Boulevard and there was this red carpet event going on and because it's there it makes it all seem possible. I see myself as a millionaire one day without a shadow of a doubt. But it's not just about money - I drive a horrible car right now because it keeps me humble and I want to save my money and invest. It's security."

TMZ DOES FUN SEGMENT ON AJ BAILEY - TMZ, the hot syndicated gossip show, aired a spoof segment on Vivid's signing of AJ Bailey which quickly went viral on mefeedia.com and other sites. "Over the years the world has given us great minds: Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein," intones a grave sounding announcer on the TMZ segment, then adds, "And now this average dumb blonde." The screen cuts to a visual of AJ saying, "I'm not your average dumb blonde." The announcer quickly corrects himself saying, "Sorry, above average dumb blonde?.her name is AJ Bailey and she is credited with being the world's smartest porn star." A female announcer confirms, "I made a call and found out she had a 3.968 GPA?." The piece ends with the announcer laying down a string of double entendres: "It brings a whole new meaning to valedictorian, magna cum laude, head of the class..."

Meanwhile, XPeeps.com carries a lengthy interview titled "AJ Bailey: Gettin' Into Her (Smarty) Pants," which begins: "At first glance, AJ Bailey looks like your favorite dumb-blonde joke: honey colored hair, blue eyes, legs for days and a body that won't quit. Add the fact that she's a porn star and immediately your mind is ready to start tossing out those high school zingers and file her away with the rest of your late night wank material. The article tells the story of AJ's education and world travels, and her decision to return to adult acting: "'I especially miss walking around naked in front of numerous strangers and being fussed over by make up artists,' she blogged. SAVANNA WILL WRITE SEX COLUMN FOR XCRITIC - Vivid Girl Savanna Samson will start writing a monthly sex advice column for adult entertainment site www.xcritic.com. "Savanna on Sex" begins on July 6th. Says Savanna: "It may sound corny, but I really do care about giving out good sex advice. I want everyone to benefit from my experience as an adult actress and as someone who thinks good sex is important for good health." Savanna earlier wrote sex-advice columns for Men's Fitness magazine and AdultFriendFinder and she was a contributor to the best-selling book How to Have a XXX Sex Life: The Ultimate Vivid Guide (HarperCollins/ReganBooks).
