IN TOUCH TRACKS KENDRA’SALES – In Touch Weekly is out with a story headlined:  Kendra’s sex tape outsells Danielle’s 4 to 1!   The reference, of course, is the Vivid-distributed Kendra Exposed,  the notorious sex tape made by the star of E! Television Network's popular Kendra reality series and the E! hit The Girls Next Door. Says InTouch Weekly:  “She may claim to be humiliated by the ordeal, but Kendra Wilkinson is a sex-tape superstar — her XXX debut, Kendra Exposed, is selling like hotcakes! ‘It surpassed our expectations. It’s our best-selling tape so far this year and could be one of our biggest-selling celebrity sex tapes of all time,’ Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of the company that released Kendra’s video, Vivid Entertainment, tells In Touch. So what’s the secret to Kendra’s success? ‘Kendra has millions of fans that love her. There's no question that the real popularity of a star helps to sell a movie and, of course, it helps that she's only 24 years old and beautiful,’ Steven adds. While the bodacious blonde has become an adult film favorite, another reality TV star, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Danielle Staub, has not quite achieved the same level of fame in the industry. ‘Kendra's sex tape has easily sold four times that of Danielle's sex tape. It performed poorly, mostly due to the fact that she is not very likable,’ an insider tells In Touch.”

SPEIDI TAPE TALKS ARE OFF – After first breaking the story that Vivid was in talks with Heidi Montag and estranged husband Spencer Pratt, TMZ now reports that the negotiations have ended.  Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch confirms that he has received a letter from a representative of Pratt saying, “Heidi's made it very clear that she is not interested in releasing any tapes...It looks like she pulled the kill switch."  Steven had been prepared to meet with Pratt and Montag in Costa Rica to discuss the deal, but the letter made it clear that the talks would not succeed:  "Spencer's not interested in further destroying their relationship by pursuing an avenue she's so vehemently against." Several TMZ segments had referenced reports of various versions of sex tapes that included Montag with Pratt, an alleged girl/girl tape with Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon and even a threesome including Pratt.

MALICE IN LALALAND RELEASE PARTY SEPT. 11TH --   Miss Lucifer Productions and Vivid Entertainment are hosting a release party at boudoir in Hollywood for the highly anticipated and critically acclaimed breakthrough movie Malice in LaLaLand.  which stars Sasha Grey, Andy San Dimas, Kagney Linn Karter, Ron Jeremy, Keni Styles, Kristina Rose, Juelz Ventura and MacKenzee Pierce.  Guests will be able to meet with many of the stars, take snapshots and get autographs.  A strong buzz has already begun for the Joachem Goldstein/Lew Xypher movie that was shot on 35mm, produced by Miss Lucifer Productions and will be distributed by Vivid.  In his AAAAA review of the movie, Peter Warren of AVN said “Within no more than the first 30 seconds…it becomes abundantly clear that what you’re watching is something unlike any porn film ever made.” Boudoir is located at 755 N La Cienega Blvd / 310-659-3900.
