VIVID OFFERS OCTOMOM A JOB – TMZ.com reports that Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch has made a new proposal to Octomom Nadya Sulema, calling it “a house-saving offer from a big porn company -- one that does not directly involve sex.”  TMZ reprinted a letter from Steven to Octomom sent in care of her attorney. TMZ reported:  “Hirsch says he feels Octo's pain -- what with a foreclosure looming -- so he's willing to pay her $1,000 a day to become a member of his production crew -- a job where she would not have to perform sex or take her clothes off. And there's plenty of work.  Hirsch says he has several shoots scheduled for October. No word from Octo's rep.  Yes, she still has one.”   Last month Vivid made Octomom an acting offer, saying in a letter, “We are offering you the opportunity to perform in one scene, for one hour in one of our movies and we will pay you up to $500,000.” She declined. Thousands of media outlets around the world picked up on both stories.

MORE MEDIA INTEREST IN THE CONDEMNED -- The adult media is expressing enthusiastic interest in The Condemned, the new "Vivid Big Event" movie from director B. Skow.  The movie has been called “an instant classic” that stacks up well against the best in mainstream independent film. CD Universe in its promo picked up a strong line from the movie’s promo blurb:   “If you see only one movie this year, make it The Condemned, B. Skow's redefining of the Vivid Big Event.”   AVN calls it “an epic adult movie with a social and political conscience.” And XCritic.com editor Christopher Thorne highlighted the movie in his “porn newswire” section last week.  Written by AVN award-winner David Stanley, The Condemned stars two stunning Vivid Girls, beautiful blonde Brit Nikki Jayne and sultry superstar Meggan Mallone, leading an all-star cast of adult’s most popular performers.  It was released in stores nationwide and online at www.vivid.com on September 27th.  


HER SEX TAPE FUELS INTEREST IN KARISSA – Vivid’s release of the sex tape starring Karissa Shannon and Sam Jones III seems to have sparked renewed interest in the beautiful blonde, with the media following her every move.  The latest flurry of coverage occurred last week, when Karissa and twin Kristina celebrated their birthday in New York City.  Coverage invariably mentioned their Vivid sex tape. And on Thursday as Karissa and Jones stepped outside their house to prepare for a job, the paparazzi were on hand to snap her stretching as her boyfriend helpfully held an umbrella. Reported Gossip Center.com:  “Getting in some active quality time, Karissa Shannon and Sam Jones III were spotted out for an early morning workout in Los Angeles yesterday (October 7). The Playboy Playmate and the “Smallville” stud both looked fit as they stretched out and went for a run together. And of course there has been all kinds of buzz regarding Karissa and Sam’s brand new celebrity sex tape, which was just released. Karissa Shannon Superstar is already making waves, and neither Karissa nor Sam seem nearly as upset about it as they were when the whole ordeal began.”
