"Given the comedic tone of the original, the movie-within-a movie elements of the sequels, and the upcoming release of the fourth installment, "Scream" seemed like a natural project to put under the parody spotlight," said Braun.

 

"Scream XXX: A Porn Parody" is being produced by Axel Braun Productions, winner of the AVN award for Best New Video Production Company, and will be distributed exclusively by Vivid Entertainment, the world's leading Adult film company.

 

A die-hard film buff, Braun selected award-winning director Eli Cross to direct the parody of the classic horror film that became a huge box office success when it was originally released in 1996, and spun 3 sequels.

 

"I've always had great respect for Eli, and he truly did an amazing job with this. He really took it one step further than the typical porn parodies and delivered a smart, sexy, and very entertaining product," said Braun.

 

"It's very meta" explained Cross, "It's a movie about the making of a parody of a movie that doesn't exist, set in the world of a movie that does exist, with actual porn actors playing a fictionalized version of themselves playing fictional actors who play fictional people.
