The movie will be released online at vivid.com on July 31 and will be in stores across the country on August 7th. The Cool News section of the website shows the headline "THE DARK KNIGHT WILL RISE IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE THIS SUMMER", and recalls that "We've had some fun covering Axel Braun productions lately. KIM KARDASHIAN, SUPERSTAR RANKS AS A TOP 5 KK MOMENT – The leading Canadian news site Global News has ranked the Vivid-distributed movie Kim Kardashian Superstar as one of the Top 5 Moments in the reality TV star’s life. Prompting the story was a visit to Toronto by Kardashian earlier this month.  “GlobalNews.ca took a look at the top five Kim Kardashian moments, to mark her trip to Toronto.”  No. 2 on the list (following her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries) was the movie. ALLIE PROMOTES STAR WARS XXX AT EXXXOTICA MIAMI BEACH – Allie Haze discussed her Princess Leia role in Star Wars XXX A Porn Parody during a pre-expo interview on The Penthouse program of WZZR Radio. NEW SURVEY CONFIRMS THAT MEN THINK ABOUT SEX ALL DAY LONG --  A new sexual preference survey conducted by popular adult movie site XCritic.com and Vivid Entertainment confirms that men have sex on their minds pretty much all day long. According to the survey 69.2 percent of men think of sex between 10 and 50 times per day, and 11.2 percent 50 times or more. Only 19.5 percent say they think about sex fewer than 10 times per day. A whopping 81.8 percent of respondents to the online survey say the "easy availability of porn today" makes their personal sex lives better. According to the survey, readily accessible porn had no impact on the sex lives of just 18.2 percent of respondents. Other findings from the survey, the second Sex Tracker poll conducted by XCritic and Vivid:-       Sex is the most important element of adult movies according to 63.9 percent of respondents, while a specific star is the most compelling element for 22.1 percent, a story line is important for 14 percent and just 5.4 percent like action with their sex. -       Asked how often they are sexually aroused while watching porn, 52.4 percent said "most of the time" while 33.9 percent said "always" and 13.4 percent said "some of the time." Only .4 percent said "rarely" and no respondents said "never." -       The respondents fell in the following age categories: 33 percent were between 18 and 29; 52.5 percent were between 30 and 49; 14.4 percent were over 50.The survey also revealed that a whopping 82 percent check the XCritic.com review of an adult movie before buying it (57% check it sometimes and 25.1% always check XCritic before committing to a purchase.)The survey was conducted in late March and early April. 

IO9.COM FEATURED AVENGERSXXX TRAILER -- The popular futuristic site io9.com gave fans an advance look at the  trailer for Vivid’s adult spoof AvengersXXX: A Porn Parody.  The power-packed movie features parodies of eleven super heroes who do battle against The Hulk (Jordan Lane). "AvengersXXX: A Porn Parody" is the latest release from the Vivid SuperXXXHeroes imprint. Directed by multi-award winner Axel Braun, it debuts online at vivid.com on May 1st and will be in stores nationwide on May 8, but io9.com posted the trailer link on April 23rd. io9.com is a highly rated daily web publication that covers science, science fiction and the future. 'IN HER HEAD' STARS THE RUSSO TWINS AND LEXI BELLE  -- Vivid released In Her Head on Wednesday, a suspense drama directed by David Stanley that covers vengeance and murder, both real and imagined. Its theme: one day life is simple and the next day you're not even sure what's real. That's the way it seems to Xoe, played by Lexi Belle and her boyfriend Hank, played by Evan Stone. They've been hiding in a hotel with a briefcase full of stolen cash. They're on the run from the sensual but murderous twins Tati and Taylor Russo, who believe the couple has stolen their money. As the net closes in, emotional and sexual tension mounts as Xoe believes the twins have figured out where they are and are coming for them. Nothing is predictable in this drama of twists and turns as we try to figure out what's real. Are the stolen money and the twins just figments of Xoe's imagination?  It all just might be in her head...or not. "In Her Head" cast also includes Xander Corvus, Anthony Rosano, Barry Scott and Jerry.

 ‘THE DAILY BEAST’ ON ‘3 MISTRESSES’ – The popular mainstream website The Daily Beast featured the debut of Vivid’s 3 Mistresses:  Notorious Tales of the World's Greatest Golfer. The story appeared under the headline: “New Tiger Woods Porno Will Be Released in Time for the Masters.”  Woods fared poorly in the Masters, but the Daily Beast story attracted dozens of reader comments.  Writer Richard Abowitz said, “Even when others counted Tiger Woods out, adult-film director B. Skow had faith in an eventual comeback for the superstar golfer. Being a fan of both porn and golf, B.Skow had, back in 2010, already combined his interests to create The Eleventh Hole, starring Woods’s then-11th-to-surface alleged mistress, porn star Josyln James…But just weeks after that film was complete B. Skow was already working on a sequel of sorts, bringing back James, along with two of Woods’s other alleged porn-star mistresses, Devon James and Holly Sampson. Though the sequel was completed, it never appeared, and the Woods scandal faded from the media glare. ‘We were assuming it would be coming out in six to eight weeks,’ Devon James recalls, ‘but the director said we’re going to wait until Tiger starts winning again. We’re going to wait for it to die down, and then we’re going to throw him back under the bus.’ She adds: ‘I thought he was joking. But I guess not.’”   B. Skow told writer, “We roughly planned it this way. When I found out [Woods’s former swing coach Hank] Haney’s book was coming out that talks about Tiger and porn, and I was watching Tiger starting to do well again, it made sense. The first film also did really well.”   Among the comments was this one from Barkingdog48: “I wish Tiger Woods all the best at the Masters. From a human performance perspective, his golf is stellar and his sexual performance beyond what most men could ever dream of in any venue. Go Tiger.” But a reader who signed herself Newswoman replied: “Would you be so approving if Tiger were a girl??? She'd be a slut, right?? Well, he is a male slut and has a sex addiction. I no longer care if he wins at golf. There are so many other great golfers with nice personalities…”  The Daily Beast story on the movie was just one of many. SANTORUM EXIT SPARKS NEW VIVID ATTENTION – When Rick Santorum bowed out of the GOP presidential battle there was new attention focused on Vivid
 Entertainment, which had led the defense against the former senator’s campaign against pornography.  Steven Hirsch was interviewed on Politico.com by staff writer Patrick Gavin. In a story headlined “Porn-maker cheers Rick Santorum exit,” Gavin wrote, “To put it bluntly, Rick Santorum and the adult film industry have never gotten along….so it should come as no surprise that Santorum’s decision to suspend his presidential bid was received warmly by those in the skin business.”  During a one-on-one interview in his Los Angeles office, Steven said of Santorum:”He was great fodder for us. You never knew what he was going to say. Some of these other guys are more measured.  He (Santorum) doesn’t seem to have his finger on the pulse of what’s really going on out there.  People are more comfortable with sexually explicit material than ever before. This country has bigger problems that they have to deal with than whether or not somebody is watching an adult film on their computer.”  On the other hand, Steven said, “I think that, historically, Democrats have chosen not to go after the industry. I think that if you look at what President Obama has done is he’s…spent as many resources as possible to try to go after the people who are child pornographers, and that’s where the money should go. I don’t think he (Obama) feels that the government should be involved in taking away people’s freedom of speech, freedom to view whatever they want in the privacy of their own home. I think that’s been the Democratic stance for many years.”

VIVID PICKS UP 2012 XRCO WINS – Vivid picked up numerous awards at the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) event at The Highlands nightclubs in Hollywood. STAR WARSXXX GOES DUTCH – Foxy Magazine in The Netherlands, a popular adult monthly, ran a three-page spread on Star WarsXXX: A Porn Parody in its April issue, along with an ad for the movie.  The headline on the story was simple: ”Star Wars Goes Porno.”   Back in the USA, the April issue of AVN Magazine gave Star WarsXXX an AAAAA with a full page story by Peter Warren lauding Axel Braun’s direction.

PORN STARS RALLY AGAINST SANTORUM WITH CALL FOR "WORLD'S LARGEST WANKOUT" -- A jocular video made by CollegeHumor.com and Jest.com and featuring a bevy of gorgeous adult actresses calls for a national "Wankout" on May 1st to protest Rick Santorum's anti-pornography stand. The "Porn Stars Against Santorum" video, shot on a Vivid Entertainment movie set, has gone viral and now appears on many other sites. Vivid Girl Allie Haze, currently starring in "Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody", leads off the lighthearted video, noting that "if elected, Rick Santorum has vowed to prosecute our industry on infrequently enforced obscenity laws." She and adult actresses Chastity Lynn and Chanel Preston plus actor Jerry continue: "Picture a world without pornography. As porn stars and Americans, we can't let that happen. Pizza delivery boys with nothing to dream about. People masturbating to Facebook photos. Or, worst of all, people using just their imaginations.

Santorum says watching porn causes profound brain changes, resulting in negative consequences. Besides not being supported by any facts, wouldn't the opposite be true? Porn lets you visualize your fantasies, so you don't walk around like a tightly wound sexually repressed time bomb. Besides, what are you going to do, erase all the porn? As soon as you took one video down, two more would pop up, like a mythical multi-headed porno beast. So, to protest Santorum, on May 1st at 8 p.m., we're staging the World's Largest Wankout. Just open up your favorite porn site, the one you downloaded to your hard drive and named 'old college papers,' '2010 taxes' or 'grandma's 80th birthday party' and let loose. Together we can enfranchise ourselves with the power of excessive masturbation." The actresses encourage viewers to vote for Santorum in the remaining primary elections, "because if he wins the primaries, he will definitely get crushed by Obama. The movie stars Devon James, Joslyn James and Holly Sampson – the three adult actresses who made national headlines as being mistresses of Tiger Woods.
